Reading Companion to the Book of Ephesians
Paul wrote the book of Ephesians from a Roman prison. He was there because he was God’s servant. Yet Paul was not filled with sorrow or venom. In fact some of the most joyful and Christ-exalting lines of the Bible flowed from those “dark” days of Paul’s life. The worst of times only shatter us if we allow them that power. How does one keep walking in victory when it’s hard and they’re hurting? We find answers here in this epistle to the believers at Ephesus.
May the Lord of glory guide your heart as you explore the wonders of His Word. Priceless are the treasures to be found there. May He build your good understanding of practical Christian living as He lifts you to spiritual maturity in Jesus. “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of My mouth” (Proverbs 4:5)
