The theme of salvation and descriptions of the Saviour run throughout Isaiah’s book of prophecy.  For through him God holds out the promise of a Redeemer and the assurance of Israel’s coming kingdom.  God does what He says!  What other book in all the earth so consistently confirms itself trustworthy through such accurate predictions of the future?  It is the Bible’s supreme measure of authority.  How this makes the study of God’s prophets an essential one. 

This Reading Companion was developed in a Bible college context, yet it presents practical truths that have proven helpful over the years to scores of sincere seekers of truth. The material has been left in the original class by class portions to make it easier to use further in a classroom setting.  Related verses of the Bible head the pages on which they are explained and applied, that God’s words might always remain in our focus.
